# Booked Solid DJ and AV Starter Pack

This is a public setup checklist. It does not contain the proprietary DJ and AV playbook corpus.

## Before the first run

1. Download the current desktop build from https://booked.kivimedia.co/download.
2. Back up the files you already use to run bookings.
3. Write down your currency, service area, quote structure, cost categories, and approval rules.
4. Connect only the browser or account the next task needs. Never paste passwords or private keys into a playbook.

## First real rehearsal

Use one completed gig from your real history. Do not contact the buyer or change a live booking.

- Create the gig with its real date, buyer, stage, source, and fee.
- Try adding it again and confirm duplicate prevention catches it.
- Edit one detail, save it, then use undo and confirm the previous value returns.
- Add the agreed fee and real costs, then compare estimated profit with your own calculation.
- Attach or cite the source evidence you would need to trust the booking six months from now.

## Included tools and safety
